Sunday Sermon: Victory

The word survivor means, “To remain alive or in existence.” Of course we all realize that its better to survive than to die. But are those really our only two choices? I don’t think so. In fact I know that is not that case. Did you know that the Bible never says that believers will “survive”? Instead, the words the Bible uses to describe the life believers are supposed to live are overcome, and victory. That is significantly different than just remaining alive. If you have adapted and accepted regarding spiritual struggles and defeat, then let me encourage you not to be content to merely survive. God’s desire and design for the believer is that not that they will merely survive but that they will have victory in their lives. Speaker: Stacy J Ross. 1 Corinthians 15:50-58. Series: Sin City.
